How to Order
Scissortail ordering can be broken up into 4 basic selections:
1. Scissortail Size
The standard banner panel size is 3-1/2’ tall x 7’ wide. The size of the panel dictates the overall size of the Scissortail. The framing of the Scissortail overlaps the panel by 1 inch on all edges. The resulting exposed area is the actual display area. When ordering, please use the panel size, and not the display area.
Scissortail – $795 (for standard 3-1/2’x 7’)
- call for quote on custom sizes from 2’x 4’ thru 4’x 8’.
- call for quote on rentals.
2. Banner Panel Material
There are several panel materials that can be used for banner installation. Scissortail Signs has found the following material to be the best:
Laminated Coroplast™: This sign panel takes 3 sheets of 4mm Coroplast™ (corrugated plastic) and laminates them together with the flutes alternating 90° for added strength. The result is a panel that has no bowing issues and is extremely light weight. This is the prefered material if you'd like to reuse your banners from time to time, or would like to rotate a series of banners.
Laminated Coroplast™ – $45 (for standard 3-1/2’x 7’)
3. Banner Type
There are 2 ways to display signage on you Laminated Coroplast sign:
- If you just need simple text or basic artwork, cut vinyl is probably the way to go. It's inexpensive, easily applies to the Coroplast material, and the Scissortail sign frame makes it look great.
Cut Vinyl – $5/sq.ft.
- If you're looking to make a bigger splash with your sign, full-color signs blow the doors wide open for eye-catching creative advertising. Naturally, it's more expensive than the cut vinyl. But again it applies easily, and the Scissortail sign frame makes sure your investment will look fantastic for as long as you need it.
Full-Color Vinyl – $180/side (for standard 3-1/2’x 7’)
4. Artwork
Many companies are capable of providing usable artwork for printing. For those that need help in this area, we’re here to make the artwork process as simple as possible. If you have an idea of what you’d like to do, but not sure how to get it done, give us a call. It doesn’t cost anything for a quote. Our Art Department can cost effectively handle about any project you might have in mind. Eye-catching signs can pay for themselves exponentially!
